I think the real question is: should PEOPLE read sexy poetry to each other in bed? And to this question, the answer is undoubtedly YES. Whether you're male, female, or somewhere in-between, reading sexy poetry is definitely a turn-on. It's a great way to share your fantasies without fear of being judged; if your partner isn't up for it, tell them it's just fiction, baby!

And if you need some suggestions on what to read, well, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve over at Buttontapper.com. 69 Sexy Haiku, anyone?

What man wants to hear sexy poetry in bed? If he is in the mood for sex, the poetry will put him to sleep. If he isn't in the mood for sex, it isn't going to get him up for it. Maybe a girl can rattle off a quick dirty limerick but beyond that forget it. There's only one couplet he has in mind and it isn't at the end of a sonnett.
